Introduction
Mary Kay Hamburger is currently an executive assistant at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania's Bone Marrow Transplant Program in Philadelphia.
Mary Kay graduated in June 2004 with a Masters in Public Administration from the School of Urban Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Delaware, specializing in State and Local Management. Her primary interests are in the fields of public management, public policy, financial management, and education leadership.
Mary Kay graduated in June 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia. While at Drexel, Mary Kay participated in the universitys acclaimed cooperative education program, alternating periods of full-time classroom studies with full-time employment. Prior to matriculating at the University of Delaware, Mary Kay held Research Assistant co-op positions with the Risk Management Association and the Philadelphia Board of Public Education. She has also worked for the Medical College of Pennsylvania, the Franklin Institute Science Museum and as a Resident Advisor in the Drexel University residence halls. As an undergraduate, Mary Kay lead an Alternative Spring Break program to the Navajo Nation in New Mexico and Arizona.
As a Graduate Research Assistant at IPA, Mary Kay worked for the Delaware Academy for School Leadership, a program which provides professional development opportunities tailored to school administrators working in Delaware. |
