Introduction
I obtained my Masters in Public Administration from the University
of Delaware with a specialization in Higher Education. While
completing my studies at the University of Delaware I worked
with the Conflict Resolution Program assisting in the coordination
and facilitation of trainings on conflict resolution, mediation,
and facilitation for universities, nonprofits, and state agencies.
Prior to this assistantship I worked with the Nonprofit Community
Resource Center. There I provided technical support to nonprofits,
and conducted a needs assessment for a local nonprofits.
While in the MPA program I also had the opportunity to work
on diversity issues through the Urban Affairs Student Association,
and play an active role in recruitment of new students. I
created a mentoring program, and took courses in nonprofit
leadership and conflict resolution skills. In addition I had
the opportunity to gain a global understanding of social welfare
through my study trips to the Netherlands, Namibia, and South
Africa. I look forward to my exciting and challenging career
in the nonprofit and education field.
