Introduction
Dená Brummer is currently a Communications Analyst with the Georgia Office of Homeland Security/GEMA. She is currently assigned to the Georgia Information Sharing and Analysis Center (GISAC), the state’s clearinghouse for terrorism-related intelligence information.
At GISAC, her duties include crisis monitoring, creating communication products (publications, presentations, brochures, websites, and reports), and strategic planning. In addition, she runs the state’s Intelligence Operations Center during homeland-security/terrorism-related events.
Prior to joining the University of Delaware, Dená received journalism degree and worked for the National Capital Planning Commission as a public affairs specialist.
