Melanie is currently working as an outreach manager for the National Women’s Law Center. At the Center Melanie works on low-income women’s issues including child care, tax policy and employment discrimination. Tasks include coordinating and implementing traditional and online outreach and advocacy strategies. She also writes for the Center’s blog, www.womenstake.org.

At the University of Delaware, Melanie served for two years as a Legislative Fellow for the Senate Minority Caucus.
