Introduction
After growing up in a family involved in municipal management, Cori completed both her undergraduate and graduate work in the field of public administration. She received her BA in Public Administration with a focus in Public Personnel from the University of Northern Iowa in 2005 and her MPA from the University of Delaware in 2007 with a focus in State and Local Management.
While completing her academic work, Cori worked in several public sector organizations. During her time at the University of Northern Iowa, she worked with faculty to establish the State & Local Government Program, a program to support local governments in Iowa and provide a local government-focused Public Administration education for students. During her graduate career, she worked with municipalities in Delaware and Pennsylvania on comprehensive planning, land-use development, and economic-development issues. She spent her last year of graduate school working as an Administrative Intern for the Borough of Media, Pa., where she worked with the borough manager and department heads on a variety of projects. She looks forward to using all of these experiences as she pursues a career in municipal management.
