Introduction
Jonathan Kirch is currently the State Advocacy Director for the American Heart Association in Delaware, where he also has responsibility for the City of Philadelphia.
At the American Heart Association, his responsibilities include directly lobbying the Delaware General Assembly, the Governor and Administration, the Philadelphia City Council, and the Mayor and Administration; public policy communications in Delaware and the City of Philadelphia; media advocacy; and strategic planning. In addition, he sits on the Chronic Illness Taskforce of the Delaware Health Care Commission.
Jonathan received his undergraduate degree in Leadership and Consumer Economics from the University of Delaware in 2005. Jonathan has also done government relations work for Verizon Delaware, Inc., and served as a Legislative Fellow with the Delaware General Assembly in the House of Representatives for both sessions of the 143rd General Assembly.
