MPA 2007
Analytical Paper Title: “Transferable Development Rights: Challenges to Implementation & Policy Recommendations”
Chair: Edward O'Donnell | Committee Members: Bernard Dworsky and David Edgell (Office of State Planning Coordination)
Introduction
As an undergraduate at the University of Delaware, I became interested in International Development and Administration. While taking an International Law and organization course, I was intrigued by the mix of law, debate, interpretation, and change that occurred in the global arena. From that point on, I focused the curriculum of my Political Science degree toward international studies. When I decided to go to grad school, the prestige of UD’s MPA program, rather than the Political Science’s graduate program, lured me.

Planning a Predatory Lending Half-Day Conference for March 2006
Predatory lending is an illegal process by which banks and other lenders target low-income and minority borrowers for sub-prime loans. Sub-prime loans are loans with high interest and points. The Predatory Lending Conference brought scholars and professionals together to discuss this problem and how to address it.
