Institute for Teachers - How to Register

Application

Your application must include

  • Completed Application Form by March 31st, 2009. Applications will not be returned.
  • A brief statement explaining how this Institute will help you in your school responsibilities.
  • Note on the form whether you are applying for cluster credit or graduate credit.

Cost

The University registration fee is $40*. UD second summer session in-state tuition ($1,299*) for Delaware public school teachers is covered by the Delaware Summer School for Teachers program.

Selection

Every attempt will be made to select a diverse group of qualified teachers (K-12). Consideration will be given to candidates' potential benefits as reflected in the supporting statements in their applications. Completed applications must be received by March 31, 2009. Selections will be made by mid-April. All applicants will be notified of their status by Mid-May; those who are accepted may then register for the Institute.
