Lead Teacher Resources

The Democracy Project serves as the civic education affiliate for the Social Studies Coalition of Delaware (SSCD). In that role, The Democracy Project facilitates both professional and curriculum development. Projects led by our staff on behalf of SSCD include the development of signature lessons, the development of a statewide civics-assessment bank, and the training of Delaware’s social studies lead teachers.

The resources found on this page (downloadable below in PDF) were used as part of the civics training offered to the SSCD social studies lead teachers on December 14, 2006, and are made available for their use in training teachers in their home districts.
