SIMMONS AND GERMAN FREEZE THE COMPETITION AT THE ICICLE TEN MILER

CRR Dan Simmons and CRR Ryan German paced each other through the grueling Icicle Ten Miler in Wilmington on January 10, crossing the line together in 1:11:13. Dan won the 60-64 age group, and Ryan placed a very respectable third in the 30-34 age group. CRR Keith Crispin was the top finisher for the Creek Road Runners with a 1:05:14, good for 22nd overall and 5th in the 40-44 age group. Well done, guys!
Other CRR among the 383 finishers were CRR Tripp Shenton (1:23:13), CRR Bob Opila (1:23:34), and CRR Bruce Hubbard (1:29:54).
FELLOWS TO OPEN CRR BRANCH IN HONG KONG
CRR Liz Fellows heads to the Far East this month and will bedoing her running in Hong Kong for a couple years. We'll look for reports now and then on how things are going in the newest Creek Road outpost.

Mother Nature actually did us a favor and gave us a new-to-this-event challenge—a trail run in the snow.
