Under the direction of Susan Keene-Haberstroh, Executive Assistant to the State Secretary of Education, Kelly tracked all legislation related to public education In Delaware, drafted commentary on proposed administrative/regulatory changes, and responded to constituent concerns for the Office of the Secretary.

Kim evaluated several large-scale counseling and client-outreach projects administered by AIDS Delaware for the state health department and also supported LGBS fund-raising initiatives with agency director John Baker. |

Dan conducted extensive non-partisan legislative research, especially on municipal tax and finance issues for the Wilmington City Council. He also researched and responded to constituent concerns under the supervision of Lynne Howard. |

Supervised by Thomas Eichler, Apryl researched substance-abuse treatment policy alternatives. She also drafted issue briefs for the SURJ executive committee and worked on membership recruitment.

Grace served on Dr. James Gills Family Medicine Center research project, focusing on two studies. One examined quality indicators before and after implementation of Uniform Clinical Guidelines (UCG) for diabetic care; the other, sponsored jointly with Oregon Medicaid, concentrated on quality of pediatric care for low-income youngsters. |

Both Ariel and Rachel worked with Director Terry Schooley in collecting and analyzing data for the 2003 KIDS Count Delaware and KIDS Count WIlmington fact books. They also participated in several high-profile presentations of project findings to elected officials, educators, community leaders, and citizens groups. |
