She worked primarily on creating a Capital Improvements Plan and the Borough’s 2007 Operating Budget, prepared for contract negotiations with the Borough's union representatives, and assisted in the drafting and implementation of a Parking Recommendations Report, in addition to the more general tasks of conducting research and drafting several reports for the Borough. |

She created an action plan for the strategic priorities established by the board of supervisors. Ariana also worked in partnership with the Emergency Coordinator to update the Township’s emergency-management plan. In addition, she provided assistance to the Historical Commission by helping them to define their project scope in order to complete a grant application to the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. Ariana also promoted the revisions and adoption of a new Township personnel policy. |

Working with Delaware’s Representatives, other statewide elected officials, Cabinet Secretaries, and private citizens, Jonathan analyzed legislation, laws, and policies, drafted policy memos, and (in consultation with Representatives) managed the work of three standing committees of the House of Representatives. Jonathan served as assistant to the House Committees on Economic Development, Banking & Insurance; House Revenue and Finance; House Housing and Community Development; as well as the House Subcommittee on Manufactured Housing.

Kevin (left), pictured with Deputy Director Jeff Krehely, served as the research intern for NCRP. In this role, Kevin analyzed a national database of rural nonprofit organizations and produced research on the efficacy of foundational philanthropy in the delivery of social services to rural communities. He also published an article that commented on the intersection of environmentalism and the Evangelical Christian movement in the U.S. His article raised concerns about churches that, in their tax-exempt status, fail to disclose their funding sources while attempting to move public policy. |
