If
you want to begin a career in public service, now is the time
to begin.
Start with your campus
career advisors. If they don't have the information you
need, ask them to contact NASPAA for our public service careers
kit.
Internships can open
the door. Use your school's career databases and alumni networks.
You'll also find openings at www.idealist.org
or through NASPAA's web site.
Graduate
school is another way to lay the foundation for your future.
An MPA (Master's
in Public Administration), for example, will develop your
abilities and increase your earnings potential. See www.naspaa.org
for more info.
If you need ideas about
what public service jobs are really out there, you can find
out more at www.naspaa.org.
For federal employment, try www.usajobs.opm.gov.

all about making a difference.
