Delaware T2 Center

The Delaware T2 Center is a unit of the University of Delaware Center for Transportation.  Funded by the Federal Highway Administration and DelDOT, the mission of the T2 Center is to support Delaware local governments through training, technology transfer, and research implementation.  The Delaware T2 Center manages an Engineering Circuit Rider program, which provides Delaware municipalities with free technical, regulatory, procedural, and policy assistance for local transportation challenges.  The T2 Circuit Rider can provide transportation-engineering advice on issues related to complete streets, such as Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance, design peer review, and public policy development.  A presentation by the Delaware T2 Center, American with Disabilities Act: Transition Plans and Complete Streets (PDF), underscores the importance of local government compliance with ADA standards and guidelines. See the T2 Center’s ADA Guidelines Summary and Resources Handout (PDF).
