What attracted you to the University of Delaware? to IPA? |

I was attracted by the opportunity to combine studying with working as a research assistant, especially since IPA is involved in a variety of activities. Apart from that, the MA program with the concentration in planning is perfectly tailored to my personal interests and very multifaceted. |

What has your experience been like as a UD grad student working at IPA? |
| A. |
It was an interesting experience that allowed me to connect my areas of interest with the work I have done. It offered a lot of insights in policy-making and planning in Delaware. |

What opportunities have been available to you as a result of your association with IPA? |
| A. |
IPA provided the opportunity to attend many interesting conferences. Besides, I could [improve] my GIS skills and get useful insights in comprehensive-planning processes. |

What immediate and future career plans do you have? |
| A. |
Generally, I hope to find a job in the field of urban planning and urban development. I have applied for a research job at an institute for housing and environment in Germany. |

Why would you recommend IPA to prospective students? |
| A. |
I would recommend IPA because it offers a variety of areas you can work in and it works at the interface of school and professional practice. |

What advice would you give to a student who is considering joining the MPA program/IPA? |
| A. |
Make sure your RA [(research assistantship)] connects to your studies (concentration) and areas of interest. Set up a good time management in order to have some free weekends to see all the big cities that are nearby. |
