Welcome to the Delaware Municipal Web Developers Group (MWDG) site. This site is primarily dedicated to the activities of the group of persons responsible for designing and/or maintaining websites for the 57 municipal and three county governments in Delaware.
Mission
The mission of the MWDG is to effect support, education, and networking on issues relating to e-government for those in Delaware who either have oversight responsibility for or maintain a municipal/county website.
Membership
This group is open to all who are in roles as described in the mission statement plus any municipal officials who are engaged in or are responsible for planning, development, or redevelopment of a municipal/county website.
Thirty municipalities and all three counties are currently represented in the membership.
Meetings
The MWDG meets quarterly in Dover, generally on the fourth Thursday afternoons in January, April, July, and the third Thursday in October. These meetings can be topical or deal with a variety of issues as the consensus directs and will usually feature a speaker who will address a specific topic.
NOTE:
Meetings are open and anyone may come. Please notify Mark Deshon in advance if you are not on MWDG’s current constituents list but wish to attend. This would also apply to member guests.
