Chris is a second-year graduate student pursuing a Master of Public Administration degree. He graduated from the University of Delaware in 2009 with a B.A. in International Relations. During his undergraduate career, Chris served as a volunteer researcher on the Multilateral Agreement and Treaty Record Set (MATRS) project. MATRS analyzes the history and evolution of the multilateral-treaty system and its implications for questions of global order and politics. Additionally, Chris also interned at the Washington, D.C., office of U.S. Senator Thomas Carper. During this internship, he assisted with legislative research and correspondence as well as aided in hearing preparation for the Subcommittee on Federal Financial Management, Government Information, Federal Services, and International Security.
As a first-year graduate student, Chris was involved with the Legislative Fellows Program. As a 2011 Fellow, he worked with the House Democratic Caucus on a wide range of issues including environmental policy and the restructuring of Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control’s Community Environmental Project Fund. Additionally, he also aided in the staffing of the Appropriations, Energy and Natural Resources committees within the House of Representatives.
Chris’ research interests include transportation policy, environmental policy, and the impact of the legislative branch in public policy. He currently works as a Public Administration Fellow with the Institute for Public Administration.
