Steve is a second-year graduate student pursuing a Master of Public Administration degree. He graduated from the University of Delaware in 2007 with a B.A. in Political Science and a Philosophy minor. His current research interests include political communication, technology policy, and the legislative process.
During his undergraduate career, Steve enjoyed his employment with the University of Delaware’s Department of Information Technologies. He worked as a program analysis and application development for three years in the private sector after receiving his bachelor's degree, but never lost his passion for governmental applications and policies. He gained invaluable experience and insight while working on the campaigns of Delaware representatives John Kowalko and Dennis E. Williams.
While working towards his MPA, Steve has taken a position as a Public Administration Fellow in the Institute for Public Administration. He is currently providing technical assistance on a statewide broadband initiative project, partnered with the State of Delaware, to provide digital literacy and awareness of Internet connectability across the state. Over the summer, Steve served as a summer intern with the Laborers International Union of North America and Delawareans for Environmental and Economic Development.
