Steve is a first-year graduate student pursuing a Master of Public Administration degree. He graduated from the University of Delaware in 2007 with a B.A. in Political Science and a Philosophy minor.  His current research interests include political communication, technology policy, and disaster-management planning.

During his undergraduate career, Steve enjoyed his employment with the University of Delaware’s Department of Information Technologies.  He worked in program analysis and application development for three years in the private sector post-bachelors but never lost his passion for governmental applications and policies.  He gained invaluable experience and insight while working on the campaigns of Delaware representatives John Kowalko and Dennis E. Williams.  While he enjoyed his assortment of prior jobs, Steve sees himself best suited working in the public sector.

While working toward his MPA, Steve has taken a position as a Public Administration Fellow at the Institute for Public Administration.  He is currently providing technical assistance on IPA's statewide broadband initiative project, in partnership with the State of Delaware, to provide digital literacy and awareness of Internet connectability across the state. During his graduate studies at the University of Delaware, he looks forward to furthering his political understandings, gaining field experience, and making valuable connections.
