Natalie is a first-year graduate student pursuing a Master of Health Promotion degree. She graduated from Ursinus College in May 2009 with a B.S. in Biology and a Spanish minor. As an undergraduate, Natalie was involved in a research project with her advisor examining the sex-based differences in cardiac muscle contractions. She also spent the summer of 2008 interning for ICON Clinical, and, while assisting with data entry for a large drug study, she learned what it felt like to affect the health of a large population.
Natalie hopes to combine her interests in heart health and working with children to help prevent childhood obesity. She is currently working with the Institute of Public Administration to develop a Public Health minor for undergraduates at the University of Delaware, and is also involved in the Healthy Communities Toolkit project.
