Nick attended the University of Oregon where he graduated in 2001 with a BA in Environmental Studies and minors in Planning, Public Policy and Management and Anthropology. He subsequently returned to his hometown and in 2002 began work with the Harford County Department of Planning and Zoning where he was responsible for the administration of the Chesapeake Bay Critical Area Program in addition to other current and comprehensive planning programs. Currently, Nick is a first year MA student in the Urban Affairs program and is concentrating on Energy and Environmental Policy. Nick intends to focus on utilizing and shaping market forces to promote environmentally sensitive development.
