This eight-session program, limited to 20 participants, provides time to work on specific leadership development needs in a small-group setting. The topics covered and the skill sets practiced will help individuals enhance their leadership abilities. The program format includes readings, discussions, group activities, and workplace assignments for practical application.

Participants meet on the eight Fridays indicated above from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Some of the topics covered include:
- Leading from within an organization
- Seeing the future using environmental scans
- Developing credibility
- Getting others around the table to foster collaboration
- Unleashing the potential of others
- Leadership communication strategies
- Negotiating basics
- Using power and influence to get things done
COST
$550 or
$300 with confirmation of granted scholarship at registration (see note below)

Sessions will be in 176 Graham Hall on the University of Delaware’s Newark campus. The registration fee includes all course materials. Registration deadline is January 24, 2009.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If for some reason you cannot participate, you must e-mail us (wldp-reg@udel.edu) by January 24 to receive a partial refund. However, you may transfer the reservation to a colleague; just notify us of the change.
